Swish casinos 2026

Yes, you can find a Swish casino with a Swedish licence. Several operators accept deposits via Swish, but the payment goes through a payment institution, such as Zimpler, rather than directly between you and the casino. What is on offer differs between operators, and withdrawals to Swish are far from something you can count on everywhere.
Here we explain how it works, which casinos themselves state that they offer Swish and what is still unclear. We have not made our own deposits or withdrawals, so everything below is based on what the casinos and payment companies say themselves. Always check the cashier before you register.
How Swish works at a casino
Swish was launched by the Swedish banks in 2012 and is run by Getswish AB, which according to the business press is owned by the major banks and the savings banks (Sparbankerna). The money is taken from the bank account linked to your Swish, and you approve the payment in the Swish app.
Gambling operators generally have no Swish agreements of their own with the banks. Instead, the payment goes via a payment institution. Zimpler states that on 11 September 2025 it became the first payment institution outside the banks to connect directly to Getswish, with both Swish Handel for payments and Swish Utbetalningar for paying money back to individuals. Zimpler aims one of its Swish services specifically at the gambling industry.
Which institution an individual Swish casino uses is rarely stated, and it can differ between operators. Brite, another Swedish payment institution, does not mention Swish on its website.
Swish casinos with a Swedish licence – what the operators themselves say
The table only includes casinos where Swish is mentioned on the Swedish website. Where a detail cannot be confirmed, it says “See the casino’s terms”. Mr Green and Betsson are not included, as we have not been able to confirm Swish with them.
| Casino | Licence holder | Deposit with Swish | Withdrawal with Swish |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeoVegas | Roar Vegas Ltd | Yes | Mentioned by the casino – check the cashier |
| Unibet | Kaprifol Services Limited | Yes | See the casino’s terms |
| Casumo | Oddit Limited | Yes | Mentioned by the casino – check the cashier |
| ComeOn | ComeOn Sweden Ltd | Yes | See the casino’s terms |
| Snabbare | Snabbare Ltd | Yes | Mentioned by the casino – check the cashier |
Unibet shows Swish among its payment logos but does not distinguish between deposits and withdrawals. LeoVegas names Swish and Trustly as its payment methods, but we could not review the full cashier. At Casumo and Snabbare, Swish is listed for both deposits and withdrawals.
Depositing with Swish at a casino: step by step
- Set a deposit limit. When gambling online in Sweden you must set a limit per day, week and month.
- Choose Swish in the cashier. If Swish is not listed, you will need to pick another method.
- Enter the amount. Check the minimum deposit; Casumo states 20 kr and Snabbare 100 kr for their cashiers.
- Open the Swish app. On a phone the app often opens automatically. If you are playing on a computer, you scan a QR code or enter your number.
- Approve with BankID. Check the recipient and amount before you sign. The money then appears in your gaming account.
The recipient shown in the app is not always the casino’s name; it may be the payment institution handling the payment. If you are unsure, cancel and check with the casino’s customer support before you approve.
Withdrawing to Swish from a casino – the picture is unclear
Depositing money with Swish is one thing. Getting it back to Swish is another, and this is where most of the question marks lie. Technically it is possible through Swish payouts, which Zimpler offers, but we have not been able to confirm that withdrawals to Swish work generally at Swedish casinos.
Casumo, Snabbare and LeoVegas mention Swish for withdrawals on their websites, but neither Getswish nor any payment institution has confirmed how it works at each operator. So expect that a withdrawal may need to go to your bank account via Trustly or another bank transfer, and read the withdrawal terms before you deposit.
If you want it in black and white before depositing, ask customer support how withdrawals work for your particular account and whether Swish can be selected when withdrawing. A written answer in the chat is worth keeping in case questions come up later.
It is also worth knowing that withdrawal times often depend more on the casino’s own checks than on the payment method. A fast payment method does not help if the operator needs several days to approve the request.
Swish on your phone and on a computer
Swish is built for mobile, and if you play in the casino’s app or in your phone’s browser, the phone will usually switch over to the Swish app and back again once you have signed. It only takes a few seconds.
At a computer the flow looks a little different. You will usually see a QR code to scan with the Swish app, or you enter your mobile number and receive a payment request on your phone. Make sure the request appears at the same moment you started the deposit – always decline a request you were not expecting.
If the Swish payment does not go through
If a payment is cancelled, or does not show up in your gaming account, first check the Swish app and your banking app to see whether the money has actually been taken. Do not try again until you know, so that you do not pay twice.
If the money has been taken but has not arrived, contact the casino’s customer support, as they manage your balance. Save a screenshot of the payment in the Swish app. Possible reasons for a declined payment are that your bank’s Swish amount limit has been reached or that your deposit limit at the casino has already been used up.
Fees for Swish at casinos
We have not found any information about fees for Swish payments to gambling operators. Your Swish is governed by your bank’s terms and the casino’s cashier by the operator’s terms, so check both if you want to be sure. Using Swedish kronor at a Swedish casino means there is no currency conversion.
Security: what you should check
You approve every Swish payment yourself in the app, and you do not give any card details to the casino. General advice on using the service safely is available on the official Swish website. A payment institution such as Zimpler is supervised by Finansinspektionen, the Swedish financial regulator. The most important thing you can do, though, is to use only casinos with a Swedish licence, which you can check in the licence register of Spelinspektionen (the Swedish Gambling Authority).
Be especially careful if an operator without a Swedish licence offers Swish. If you play with such an operator you do not have the same protection, and winnings may become taxable.
Swish and the credit ban
Swish takes money from a bank account, not a credit card, and is therefore not affected by the block on credit cards that has applied since 1 May 2026. If the underlying account has a credit facility, such as an overdraft, it does however count as credit according to the preparatory works to the law.
The operator cannot see whether the account you pay from has such a facility. It is therefore up to you to play only with money that is genuinely yours. Card payments are still limited to debit cards, and paying by invoice is not permitted.
Swish and the welcome bonus
If you make your first deposit with Swish, that is also when any bonus comes into play. An operator with a Swedish licence may only offer a bonus on the first occasion you play, under Chapter 14, Section 9 of Spellagen (the Gambling Act). The payment method does not affect that, but the terms do: read our guide to wagering requirements and bonus terms before you accept.
Swish or Trustly – what is the difference?
For you as a player, they are more alike than you might think. Both take money from a bank account, both are usually approved with BankID and neither requires you to give card details to the casino. The difference lies mainly in how the payment is started and how reliably you can get your money back the same way.
- Deposits: Swish starts from your mobile number and the Swish app, Trustly from a bank login in the cashier.
- Withdrawals: Trustly is listed for withdrawals by several casinos, while withdrawals to Swish are uncertain.
- Availability: Trustly is mentioned by six of the seven casinos we review, Swish by five.
Checklist before you choose a Swish casino
- The operator holds a Swedish licence from Spelinspektionen.
- Swish appears in the cashier when you are logged in, not just on the homepage.
- The withdrawal terms clearly state which methods you can withdraw to.
- You have set a deposit limit that suits your budget.
Alternatives if the casino does not offer Swish
If you cannot find a Swish casino that suits you, or you want to be sure of withdrawals to your bank account, Trustly is the most common alternative. It is mentioned by six of the seven casinos we review, and several of them explicitly list it for withdrawals. Read more about using Trustly at casinos.
In practice, both Swish and Trustly rely on you identifying yourself with BankID. If you want to find operators where login and payment happen in the same flow, there is a comparison of casinos with BankID.
Play with limits
Swish is quick, and that makes it easy to deposit one more time. Stick to your deposit limit – an increase takes effect after 72 hours at the earliest, a decrease immediately. If you want to exclude yourself from all licensed gambling, there is Spelpaus.se, the national self-exclusion register, and Stödlinjen, the gambling helpline, answers on 020-819 100.
Frequently asked questions
Can you use Swish at an online casino?
Yes. Several Swedish-licensed casinos accept deposits via Swish, including LeoVegas, Unibet, Casumo, ComeOn and Snabbare according to their own websites. The payment goes through a payment institution such as Zimpler. Availability varies, so check the cashier at the casino you choose.
Can I withdraw winnings to Swish?
That is unclear. A few casinos mention Swish for withdrawals, but we have not been able to confirm that it works across the board. Expect that a withdrawal may need to go to your bank account via Trustly or a bank transfer, and read the withdrawal terms before you deposit.
Why does the Swish app show a different name from the casino?
Gambling operators usually accept Swish through a payment institution, and it may be the institution’s name that appears as the recipient. Check the amount and contact the casino’s customer support if you are unsure before you approve.
Does Swish count as credit under the credit ban?
No. Swish takes money from a bank account and does not count as a credit card. If the account has a credit facility, such as an overdraft, that facility does count as credit, however. So only play with money that is genuinely yours.
Does it cost anything to pay a casino with Swish?
We have not found any information about fees for Swish payments to gambling operators. Your bank sets the terms for Swish and the casino sets the terms for its cashier, so read both if you want to be certain.
