Editorial Team

The KasinoHitta editorial team is made up of three writers who share responsibility for the site’s content. This page shows who writes about what, so you know who is behind a given article and who keeps track of a particular topic.

All three work to the same rules. We only cover casinos holding a Swedish licence, every figure must have a source, and we never claim to have tested something unless we actually have.

How the editorial team works

Details such as licence numbers, wagering requirements, RTP and withdrawal times come from the licence register of Spelinspektionen (the Swedish Gambling Authority), from the casinos’ and game providers’ own terms, and from the legislation itself. If a detail cannot be confirmed, we do not publish it and instead refer you to the casino’s current terms.

Before an article is published, the editor checks the facts. When a casino changes its terms we go through the page again, and for offers we state when they were last checked.

At present our reviews are based on published terms and game ranges. We will add our own withdrawal and customer-service tests, and until then we report withdrawal times, for example, as the casino’s own stated figures.

We write for Swedish readers in a calm, factual tone. Gambling is entertainment that costs money, so we never promise winnings and never describe gambling as a way to make money. Bonuses are always presented together with their terms.

Who is responsible for what

Each writer has their own area of responsibility and follows developments within it. That makes it easier to keep pages up to date when terms, payment methods or regulations change. Mikael also reviews every article before publication, so that the same rules on sources and wording apply across the whole site.

Mikael Sandberg – editor

Mikael is the editor and fact-checker at KasinoHitta. He reviews casino reviews, toplists and game guides and has overall responsibility for making sure the information on the site is accurate. Mikael is also responsible for making sure corrections from readers are dealt with.

Emma Bergqvist – bonuses and terms

Emma writes about bonuses, terms and wagering requirements. Her job is to explain what an offer actually requires of you, with worked examples rather than big words. She also writes about what the Swedish bonus rule means for you. Read her breakdowns of bonuses and their terms.

Oskar Nyström – payments and withdrawals
