Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This cookie policy explains which cookies KasinoHitta.com uses and what choices you have. In short: strictly necessary cookies are always used so that the site works, whereas analytics cookies are only set if you choose “Godkänn analys” (accept analytics) in our cookie banner.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember things such as your settings between page views and visits. Some cookies disappear when you close your browser, while others remain for a period of time.
Cookies can be set by the website you are visiting or by a service the website uses. A cookie contains no software in itself and cannot harm your computer, but it can be used to recognise your browser. That is why cookies that are not strictly necessary may only be used if you have consented to them.
Your choice in the cookie banner
The first time you visit KasinoHitta, a cookie banner appears with two options:
- Endast nödvändiga (necessary only) – we only use the cookies required for the site to work.
- Godkänn analys (accept analytics) – we also use analytics cookies, so that we can understand how the site is used.
The site works the same way whichever choice you make, and all content can be read even if you only accept strictly necessary cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are needed for the site to work and are therefore used without consent:
| Cookie | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Cookie choice | Stores the choice you made in the cookie banner, so that it is not shown on every page view |
| pll_language | Stores your language choice (set by the Polylang plugin) |
| WordPress login | Keeps editors logged in to the publishing tool. Only set for people who log in, not for ordinary visitors |
Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and how visitors find us. We use that knowledge to improve the content. Analytics cookies are only set once you have clicked “Godkänn analys”. If you choose “Endast nödvändiga”, no analytics cookies are set at all. If you have accepted analytics but later change your mind, follow the steps in the section below.
How to change your choice
To change your choice, clear the cookies for kasinohitta.com in your browser. The next time you visit the site, the cookie banner will appear again and you can choose afresh.
You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser settings. How to do this differs between browsers and is described in your browser’s help section. Bear in mind that the site may work less well if you also block strictly necessary cookies.
Your choice is only stored in the browser and on the device where you made it. If you use both a phone and a computer, or several browsers, you therefore need to make the choice in each of them.
Cookies on gambling operators’ sites
When you click a link to a casino and leave KasinoHitta, the gambling operator’s own cookie rules apply on its website. Read the operator’s cookie and privacy policy if you want to know how it handles your data.
Rules and further information
The use of cookies is regulated by the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (lagen om elektronisk kommunikation), and the supervisory authority for those rules is the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS). Where data collected through cookies constitutes personal data, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies.
How we process personal data and what rights you have is described in our privacy policy.
Please send questions about this cookie policy or how we use cookies to kontakt@kasinohitta.com. We update the policy if we change which cookies the site uses, and the date at the top shows when it was last changed.
