Play’n GO launches new slot: Wrappin’ More Gold
Swedish game studio Play’n GO has launched a new slot called Wrappin’ More Gold. The game is a sequel within the studio’s Wrappin series and carries an Ancient Egypt theme, built around a mummy that grows larger as the round develops.
What’s new
The game runs on five reels and 20 paylines, pairing up to three simultaneous Collect & Win pots with a growing mummy that collects coins and gems. The mummy expands its collection area as it gathers coins and gems, eventually potentially covering the entire reel set. Three different pots trigger different effects: a wider reel area, extra multipliers, or doubled coin and gem values.
The GO Ultra modifier expands the reels to 8×5, adds 2x or 3x multipliers and doubles coin and gem amounts, while a Wild-triggered four-tier Instant Bonus can pay out up to 2000 times the stake. Players can also win up to 33 bonus spins, with retriggers awarding three extra spins each time.
Play’n GO’s games ambassador Magnus Wallentin explained that collecting features work best when progress is immediately visible, and that the mummy in the new game both gathers prizes and shows how the round is unfolding.
Wrappin’ More Gold is already available, expanding Play’n GO’s games portfolio with a title that combines collection mechanics, progressive expansion of the play area, multipliers and several bonus modes.
What this means for you as a player
Play’n GO is one of the suppliers found at many casinos with a Swedish licence, which means Wrappin’ More Gold is likely to appear over time in the game libraries of several Swedish online slots sites. As with other licensed games, you can usually try a free demo version before playing with real money, giving you a chance to get familiar with the Collect & Win features and the GO Ultra mode without staking anything.
Remember that bonus features like the Instant Bonus can produce high wins, but the outcome is always random. If gambling starts to feel hard to control, help is available via Stödlinjen.se, and you can exclude yourself from all licensed gambling via Spelpaus.se.
The bigger picture
The launch is another step in Play’n GO’s continued investment in the Wrappin series, where earlier titles have already been made available to operators. By building on a theme and mechanic already proven with players, the studio keeps expanding its catalogue with new variants rather than creating an entirely new concept for every release. This is a common pattern among the major game developers, giving operators a steady flow of new content for their Swedish players.
