Hacksaw steps up after strong quarter with new CEO in place

Hacksaw steps up after strong quarter with new CEO in place

Swedish slot studio Hacksaw Gaming has reported a strong third quarter and is changing its operational CEO. Play’n GO has also launched a new rewards system for licensed casinos, Hacksaw has released two new slots, and Swedish studio Gaming Corps has gone live with an operator in Belgium.

Hacksaw changes CEO after quarter with rising profit

Hacksaw Gaming, the slot developer headquartered in Stockholm whose parent company Hacksaw AB is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, has made several changes to its management team, including appointing Philippa Gregory as operational CEO of its Hacksaw Gaming subsidiary, following Q3 2026 growth in revenue, earnings and profit. Operating profit for the quarter climbed 17% year-on-year to €47.8m, while profit after tax rose to €45.7m, up from €38.7m in the same period last year.

Gregory takes over from Marcus Cordes, who will instead focus on building the company’s new B2B prediction markets business. Gregory has been with Hacksaw since April 2022, most recently as chief compliance officer, and has been part of group management since January 2025. The two will work together until 1 December to ensure a smooth handover. For players, this won’t show up directly in the game library, but it highlights that one of the Swedish studios supplying slots to licensed Swedish casinos keeps growing and professionalising.

Play’n GO launches new rewards system for licensed casinos

Swedish studio Play’n GO, the maker of titles including Book of Dead, has launched a brand-new promotional ecosystem, GO Momentum, designed to spearhead engagement and loyalty for partner operators in regulated markets. The tools are brought together under one umbrella and are already available to Play’n GO’s operator partners, with GO Rewards, GO Jackpots and GO Drops in the initial rollout. GO Tournaments is expected to join the ecosystem in early 2027.

Play’n GO’s head of product strategy Petter Viklund said the initiative is about more than new promotional tools, framing it as a statement about where the regulated casino experience can go next (translated from English). For Swedish players this mainly means clearer rewards around familiar games, rather than new slots themselves.

Two new slots from Hacksaw: SixSixSix and Le Clubber

Alongside the leadership change, Hacksaw keeps expanding its game library. The studio has released Epic SixSixSix, now available at operator Flush Casino, along with the disco-themed Le Clubber. Both titles run on Hacksaw’s proprietary engine and join a portfolio already featuring several popular titles at Swedish licensed online slots. New Hacksaw slots typically reach Swedish operators shortly after international release, so it’s worth keeping an eye out if you like the studio’s style.

Gaming Corps rolls out full catalogue in Belgium

Swedish developer Gaming Corps, listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, has gone live with its complete game library at operator Starcasino in Belgium. The deal means more of the company’s titles are now distributed internationally, which could eventually bring more Gaming Corps content to the Swedish market via licensed operators.

The bigger picture

Today’s stories show several Swedish studios supplying games to licensed Swedish casinos – Hacksaw, Play’n GO and Gaming Corps – stepping up both organisationally and on the product side at the same time. New leadership, new rewards systems and new slots all point to continued development of the offering for anyone playing at a casino with a Swedish licence. Remember that Spelpaus.se lets you exclude yourself from all licensed gambling, and Stödlinjen.se offers support if gambling becomes hard to manage.
