About KasinoHitta

KasinoHitta is an independent Swedish guide to casinos licensed by Spelinspektionen (the Swedish Gambling Authority). We compare operators, explain bonus terms and payment methods and write about the games – so that you can make well-informed decisions before you deposit money. Here we tell you briefly about KasinoHitta: who we are, how our content is produced and how the site is funded.

We only write about operators with a Swedish licence. We never mention unlicensed casinos in positive terms and we do not link to them, because as a player there you lack the protection that Swedish law provides.

What KasinoHitta does

Our pages are designed to give you answers quickly: which casinos have a Swedish licence, what an offer actually requires of you, how long a withdrawal takes according to the casino’s own terms, and which responsible gambling tools are available. We write factually and never promise winnings. Casino games are entertainment that costs money, not a way to make money.

Our content consists of casino reviews and top lists, guides to bonuses and terms, pages on payment methods and overviews of games such as slots, roulette and blackjack.

How we produce our content

Every figure we publish – licence numbers, wagering requirements, RTP, withdrawal times or bonus amounts – must have a source. We take the information from Spelinspektionen’s licence register, from the casinos’ and game providers’ own terms, and from the legislation. If a detail cannot be confirmed, we do not publish it and instead refer you to the casino’s current terms. We never make up figures.

Offers and terms change often. That is why we state when an offer was last checked, and we review our pages again when the terms change.

An example: when a casino states how quickly withdrawals are processed, we write that this is the casino’s own information, not a time we have measured ourselves. The same applies to the number of games and other claims that only the operator can vouch for.

We are also clear about what we have not done. Our reviews are currently based on published terms and game ranges, not on our own accounts, deposits or contact with customer service. We will add our own withdrawal and customer service tests to the reviews, and until then we never claim that anything has been tested by us. We describe in detail how ratings are set on the page about how we rate casinos.

What we do not write

Some things you will never find on our site. We do not write about operators without a Swedish licence, we do not describe gambling as a way to make money, and we do not claim that any strategy can change the casino’s built-in advantage. Nor do we use countdowns or time pressure to get you to open an account. We describe bonuses with their terms, not just with the amount.

Corrections

Despite careful checking, mistakes can slip through. If you find a detail that is wrong or out of date, we would like to know. Email kontakt@kasinohitta.com with a link to the page and, if possible, a source. We correct the page once we have been able to confirm the new information.

The writers behind KasinoHitta

Our content is written by three writers, each with their own area of responsibility:

• Mikael Sandberg is editor and fact-checker. He is responsible for casino reviews, top lists and game guides, and checks the information before it is published.
• Emma Bergqvist writes about bonuses, terms and wagering requirements.
• Oskar Nyström writes about payment methods, withdrawals and BankID.

How the site is funded

KasinoHitta is funded through affiliate agreements. This means we may receive a commission from an operator when you open an account via a link on our site.

The commission never affects our ratings or which information we publish. Links to operators are labelled as advertising (“Reklam”), and we only work with casinos that hold a Swedish licence. We describe the full arrangement on our advertising disclosure page.

Play in moderation

KasinoHitta is aimed exclusively at readers aged 18 and over. Set a budget before you play and use the casino’s limits.
