All casinos with a Swedish licence 2026
Here you will find casinos holding an active licence from Spelinspektionen (the Swedish Gambling Authority), together with the licence details we have been able to confirm: which company holds the licence, the licence number and how long the licence is valid. Casinos without a Swedish licence are not included, and we never link to them.
See the list as a starting point. Below the toplist we group the casinos by what usually decides the choice – BankID, playing without an account, withdrawals or mobile play – and further down we briefly describe each casino based on what it states itself about games, app and customer service. Finally, there is an overview of what has happened on the Swedish market over the past year.
How we selected casinos for the list
The first and most important criterion is the licence. We start from the casino’s footer and terms, Spelinspektionen’s published decisions and, where possible, the licence register. A casino is only included once it is clear that the licence is active.
We then gather information from the casinos’ own pages: which games and providers are mentioned, whether there is an app, which payment methods are listed and how customer service can be reached. Each detail is assessed according to how reliable the source is. A figure that only appears on an affiliate site, or that is contradicted on the casino’s own page, is not printed – instead we refer you to the casino’s terms or to the licence register.
The list is not based on our own test results. We have not made deposits or withdrawals at the casinos, so everything about withdrawal times is the casino’s own information.
An example of why we are cautious: for Mr Green, a licence number appears in the app stores that belongs to the original 2019 licence, which has expired. We have not found the current number in any reliable source, so it is not in the table. Old information often lives on for a long time online, which is why we review the list continuously during 2026.
Casino list by category
All the casinos on the list have the same basic protection through the licence, but they differ in how you register, pay and play. Our sub-lists sort them by exactly that, so you can start at the right end.
New casinos
New brands appear all the time, often from groups that already have other casinos in Sweden. We only include new casinos whose licence we have been able to verify, and we never make up launch dates. They are gathered among our new casinos.
No account
Here, depositing and registering happen in one and the same step: you deposit via your bank, verify your identity and the account is created along the way. Even then, the law requires the casino to collect your name, address and Swedish personal identity number. Snabbare describes such a flow, where the account is created as part of the BankID verification. More examples can be found in the list of no-account casinos.
BankID
According to the casinos’ own information, you log in with BankID at LeoVegas, Unibet, Mr Green, Casumo, ComeOn and Snabbare. Spelinspektionen has also proposed that e-ID should be required at every login, but the proposal had not been adopted at our latest check. The comparison can be found under BankID casinos.
Swedish licence and Swedish connection
A Swedish licence means a licence from Spelinspektionen – not that the company is Swedish. Several licence companies on our list are registered in Malta, for example Roar Vegas Ltd for LeoVegas, Kaprifol Services Limited for Unibet and Oddit Limited for Casumo. We explain the difference between brand, licence company and owner on the page about Swedish casinos.
Withdrawals
Withdrawal times are hard to compare, because few casinos state a time they stick to. Casumo is a good example: its FAQ mentions processing within 72 hours, while other parts of the site talk about a few hours or a few banking days. When the information varies like that, we do not reproduce it in the tables. Casinos that state clear times are listed under casinos with fast withdrawals.
Mobile
If you mostly play on your phone, the choice is between an app and the browser. Casumo states that it has its own app in the App Store and Google Play with slots, live casino and payments, while ComeOn offers both a downloadable app and play directly in your phone’s browser. More on this under mobile casinos.
All casinos with licence details
The table summarises the licence details. Where it says “See the licence register”, we have not been able to confirm the detail from a sufficiently reliable source, and the register is the right place to check it.

Payments and withdrawals look like this according to the casinos’ own pages. We compare bonuses and wagering requirements separately on our bonus page, because offers change far more often than licence details.

The payment details for Unibet come from the logos on the casino’s site, which do not show which methods apply to deposits and which to withdrawals. For Betsson we only have information from a comparison site, and we do not reproduce it.
The casinos in brief
Here is a short description of each casino, based on what the casino states itself. Founding years are based on industry sources and are only given where we have such a source.
LeoVegas
LeoVegas was founded in 2011 and states that the site has more than 3,000 games. The providers mentioned include Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Evolution and Hacksaw Gaming, and LeoVegas also has its own studio. Book of Dead, Sweet Bonanza and Starburst are part of the range. According to the casino, customer service is open around the clock via chat, email and phone, and the responsible gambling tools are gathered under LeoSafePlay.
Unibet
Unibet states that it has more than 3,000 casino games and an app for both iOS and Android. Providers mentioned include NetEnt, Quickspin, ELK Studios, Play’n GO and Evolution. Since 23 October 2025 the Swedish site has been run under a new licence held by Kaprifol Services Limited, and accounts from the old licence were closed in connection with the change. Customer service is reached via a help centre, but we have not been able to confirm opening hours.
Mr Green
Mr Green was founded in 2007 and, according to the site, offers customer service in Swedish via chat, phone and email. Responsible gambling is gathered in the Green Gaming programme, including deposit, loss and playing time limits. Book of Dead and Sweet Bonanza are part of the casino’s free spins offers. We have not been able to confirm the current licence number, but according to Spelinspektionen the licence is valid until 26 March 2029. The owner, evoke plc, is expected to be acquired, so the ownership picture may change.
Betsson
Betsson is the profile for which we have the fewest confirmed details. According to industry media, Spin Nordic Ltd took over as licence holder on 30 September 2026, and existing accounts were closed so that players had to register again. Betsson Nordic Ltd also retains a licence until 31 December 2028. We have not been able to check Betsson’s own terms in the same way as for the other casinos. Check the licence register and the casino’s terms before you play.
Casumo
Casumo was founded in 2012 and has a long list of providers, including Evolution, Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Red Tiger and Nolimit City. The app is available in the App Store and Google Play. According to the site, customer service is open 08.00–00.00, and the Play Okay programme brings together the tools for limits and breaks. Book of Dead and Starburst are in the range according to the casino.
ComeOn
ComeOn was founded in 2008 and describes its range as thousands of casino games, with Yggdrasil, Evolution and Games Global among the providers. Customer service answers in Swedish around the clock via chat and email. In addition to the casino app, you can play directly in your phone’s browser. The licence company is ComeOn Sweden Ltd; we have not yet been able to confirm the licence number from a reliable source.
Snabbare
Snabbare has licence number 25Si1513 and a licence valid until 29 October 2030. Providers mentioned include Play’n GO, Evolution, ELK Studios and Pragmatic Play. Customer service is open around the clock via chat and email, and the app is available in the Swedish App Store. Responsible gambling tools include limits on deposits, losses and stakes, and the casino links to Spelpaus and Stödlinjen.
Game providers behind the casinos
A casino rarely develops its own games. The same titles from the same providers are therefore found at many casinos, and it is often the provider rather than the casino that decides how a game works. Several of the biggest have Swedish roots.
- Evolution has its head office in Stockholm and is the live studio mentioned most often at the casinos on the list. The group also includes NetEnt, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming and Nolimit City.
- NetEnt was founded in Sweden and was bought by Evolution in December 2020. Starburst comes from here.
- Play’n GO has its head office in Växjö and is behind Book of Dead. The company states that it has more than 400 games.
- Pragmatic Play is based in Gibraltar and makes titles such as Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza, but also runs live studios.
So which providers a casino has largely determines which games you will find there. At LeoVegas, Casumo and Snabbare, all four are mentioned.
Customer service according to the casinos
When something goes wrong with a withdrawal or a verification, customer service is who you deal with. This is how the casinos themselves describe their support. We have not contacted them, so we cannot comment on response times.
| Casino | Channels according to the casino | Opening hours according to the casino | Swedish |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeoVegas | Chat, email, phone | Around the clock | Yes |
| Unibet | Help centre, phone and email to the licence company | See the casino’s terms | See the casino’s terms |
| Mr Green | Chat, phone, email | See the casino’s terms | Yes |
| Betsson | See the casino’s terms | See the casino’s terms | See the casino’s terms |
| Casumo | 08.00–00.00 | See the casino’s terms | |
| ComeOn | Chat, email | Around the clock | Yes |
| Snabbare | Chat, email | Around the clock | See the casino’s terms |
One tip is to try the chat with a simple question before you deposit. That way you can see how support works before you really need it.
Licences for online gambling and betting
Most casinos on the list hold licences for both commercial online gambling and betting. In practice this means that casino, live casino and sports betting are available under the same account. It also affects the bonus: because the licence holder may only give one bonus, at Unibet, for example, you choose between a casino, sports or poker offer. If you take the sports bonus, there is no casino bonus left to claim with the same company.
For Betsson, the information about which licence types the new licence company holds is contradictory, so there we refer you to the register.
How to check a casino’s licence
It takes a couple of minutes to check for yourself that a casino has a Swedish licence, and it is worth the effort every time you consider a new operator.
- Scroll to the bottom of the casino’s homepage and find the company name and licence number.
- Open Spelinspektionen’s licence register.
- Search for the company name and check that the casino’s web address is listed among the company’s websites.
- Look at how long the licence is valid.
- If the details do not match – do not play there.
The licence holder rarely has the same name as the brand, and it can change. When that happens, the old accounts are often closed and you have to register again, which happened at Unibet in autumn 2025 and, according to industry media, at Betsson in September 2026. That is not a warning sign in itself, but it is a reason to read the new terms.
Spelinspektionen also reviews how the companies behave. Casumo’s licence company received a warning and an administrative fine of 1.2 million kronor in May 2026 for reporting changes among people in its management too late. In May 2025 Snabbare received a warning and an administrative fine of 5.5 million kronor for shortcomings in its anti-money laundering work. Both still hold their licences, but the decisions are public and can be read on the authority’s website.
Payment methods at casinos with a Swedish licence
Trustly and Swish are the methods mentioned most often at the casinos on the list. Still, check in the cashier which methods apply to withdrawals, as they are not always the same as for deposits. LeoVegas and Snabbare list Swish and Trustly in both directions, while Casumo also lists cards for withdrawals.
Minimum deposits differ. Casumo states 20 kr, while Snabbare states 100 kr as the minimum and 50,000 kr as the maximum deposit. At LeoVegas and Mr Green, 100 kr is the minimum deposit to get the welcome offer.
Credit cards cannot be used. Since 1 May 2026 licensed online casinos must block them, and invoices and other forms of buying on credit also count as gambling with credit. Debit cards that take money from your own account, such as the Visa and Mastercard cards Casumo accepts, are not normally regarded as credit.
New on the Swedish casino market
The market changes, and the list is updated when something happens. Some of the changes from the past year, according to Spelinspektionen and industry media:
- Reviant, run by EntBox Limited and linked to ComeOn Group, received a licence on 2 April 2026 and launched in mid-April.
- By May 2026 at the latest, Paf had launched Snurr Casino on its existing licence held by Speedy Ltd.
- Vera&John relaunched in Sweden in June 2025 as Glitnor Group’s fourth Swedish brand.
- Lodur launched under a Swedish licence at the beginning of 2026.
- GoGoCasino, part of LeoVegas Group, also received a betting licence in April 2026.
These casinos are not yet part of our comparison. They will be added once we have confirmed the licence details from a reliable source.
Work on the rules is also ongoing. In June 2026 Spelinspektionen sent out proposals for new regulations on responsible gambling for consultation – including e-ID at every login, automatic logout after inactivity, login time limits for all online games and a ban on reversing withdrawals. The proposals had not been adopted at our latest check. The government has also appointed an inquiry into how children and young adults should be protected from gambling, due to report in February 2028.
Responsible gambling at the casinos
All licensed casinos must offer deposit limits, a self-assessment test and the option to exclude yourself, including an immediate 24-hour break. Several have more tools than the law requires: Casumo lists loss limits, playing time limits and reminders, and Snabbare states limits on both losses and stakes per day, week and month.
If you want to exclude yourself from all licensed operators at once, you do so via Spelpaus (the national self-exclusion register), where you can choose anything from 10 days to until further notice. If you need to talk to someone about your gambling, you can reach Stödlinjen, the national gambling helpline, on 020-81 91 00 on weekdays.

How many casinos have a Swedish licence?
Spelinspektionen does not publish a running figure that we have been able to confirm. The licence register does, however, list all companies with a valid licence and which websites they operate. Bear in mind that one licence company can run several brands.
How can I tell if a casino has a Swedish licence?
Find the company name at the bottom of the casino’s site and search for it in Spelinspektionen’s licence register. Check that the web address is listed and that the licence is still valid.
Why do I have to register again at my casino?
It happens when a casino moves to a new licence company. Accounts under the old licence are closed and you create a new one. That is what happened when Unibet changed licence in October 2025.
Is a casino with a Swedish licence a Swedish company?
Not necessarily. The licence comes from Spelinspektionen, but the licence company may be registered in another country. Several of the licence companies on our list are registered in Malta.
Can a casino lose its Swedish licence?
Spelinspektionen supervises all licence holders and can intervene when there are shortcomings, for example with a warning and an administrative fine. The decisions are published on the authority’s website, so you can see how a company has behaved.
