Trustly Casinos 2026

A Trustly casino lets you deposit and withdraw money directly to and from your bank account. You choose your bank, approve with BankID and the money is moved without a card, card number or separate account with a payment service. Trustly is available at every casino in our comparison where we have been able to check the payment details, and for many it is the simplest route to a gaming account.
Below we go through how the service works, which casinos offer it according to their own websites, how deposits and withdrawals work and what it costs. We have not made transactions at the operators ourselves, so all times and amounts are what the casino or Trustly states.
What is Trustly?
Trustly Group AB is a Swedish payment company headquartered in Stockholm. The company was founded in 2008 and is a payment institution authorised by Finansinspektionen (the financial supervisory authority) under the Payment Services Act (2010:751). The service is often called Pay by Bank: the money goes directly from your bank account to the recipient.
When you pay in the casino’s cashier, you choose your bank and identify yourself in your bank’s app or with an electronic ID. In Sweden that almost always means BankID. The casino never sees your bank log-in details – they stay between you and your bank.
The difference from a card is that there is no card number that can be stored, leaked or charged again without you noticing. The difference from an e-wallet is that you do not need to transfer money to an intermediate account first. Everything happens between your bank account and the operator, and each payment appears as an ordinary transaction in your banking app.
Trustly casinos with a Swedish licence: the current range
The table is based on what the casinos themselves write on their Swedish websites. Where a detail cannot be confirmed it says “See the casino’s terms”. Betsson is not included because we have not been able to verify the operator’s payment details.
| Casino | Licence holder | Deposits with Trustly | Withdrawals with Trustly | Withdrawal time according to the casino |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LeoVegas | Roar Vegas Ltd | Yes | Yes | See the casino’s terms |
| Unibet | Kaprifol Services Limited | Yes | See the casino’s terms | See the casino’s terms |
| Mr Green | Mr Green Limited | Yes | See the casino’s terms | See the casino’s terms |
| Casumo | Oddit Limited | Yes | Yes | See the casino’s terms |
| ComeOn | ComeOn Sweden Ltd | Yes | See the casino’s terms | Processed within 24 hours |
| Snabbare | Snabbare Ltd | Yes | Yes | Within 15 minutes of processing |
Unibet shows Trustly among its payment method logos, but does not distinguish between deposits and withdrawals. Mr Green mentions Trustly on its home page and writes that deposits and withdrawals are made with BankID. ComeOn also mentions the Trustly One Click variant.
Trustly casino deposits step by step
- Set your deposit limit. Before you can play, you must set an upper limit on deposits per day, week and month.
- Choose Trustly in the cashier. At some casinos Trustly is preselected or the only bank option.
- Enter the amount. Check the minimum and maximum amounts. Snabbare, for example, states 100 kr as the minimum and 50,000 kr as the maximum deposit.
- Choose your bank and identify yourself. You approve with BankID and choose which account the money should be taken from.
- Confirm the payment. The money should then appear in your gaming account.
Note that you choose the account for every payment, whichever Trustly casino you play at. If you have several accounts, it may be wise to use a separate gambling account with a fixed budget, so that your play is not mixed up with your salary and bills.
Trustly casino withdrawals and withdrawal times
A withdrawal has two parts: first the casino reviews and approves your request, then Trustly sends the money to your account. Trustly states that over 95 per cent of payouts in gaming happen instantly, but the first part is entirely controlled by the operator.
Snabbare writes that withdrawals with Trustly reach your bank account within 15 minutes of the withdrawal being processed, and that it may take longer with smaller banks. ComeOn states that withdrawals are processed within 24 hours. For the other casinos in the table we have not found a clear time, so check the terms before requesting a withdrawal.
Common reasons for a delayed withdrawal are that the account is not fully verified, that wagering requirements remain on a bonus or that the casino needs more information from you before the money can be sent.
Deposit and registration in one step
Trustly also has a solution that combines deposit, account registration and identity checks in one and the same flow. It is often marketed as Pay N Play, and Trustly states that it is available in Sweden, Finland, Estonia, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, among others. Snabbare describes a similar set-up in which the account is created when you verify yourself with BankID in connection with your first deposit.
Even though it is described as playing without an account, under Swedish law the operator must still register your name, address and personal identity number and check who you are. The difference is that you do not have to fill in the forms yourself. If you want to compare operators that work this way, we have a separate page about no account casinos.
Fees with Trustly
Trustly writes in its terms, available on Trustly’s official website, that the company does not charge any fees for the service. Currency conversion fees or fees from your own bank may, however, apply, and the operator may have its own terms in its cashier. If you play in kronor at a casino with a Swedish licence, there is normally no conversion at all.
If a Trustly payment does not go through
Sometimes a payment gets stuck, for example if the BankID signing is interrupted or the bank has technical problems. Start by looking in your banking app: has the money been taken or not? Do not repeat the payment until you know, or you risk depositing twice.
If the money has left your account but not arrived in your gaming account, the casino’s customer service is the first place to contact, since that is where the balance is handled. It is a good idea to save a screenshot of the transaction. If the issue concerns the transfer itself, Trustly also has its own support page.
How safe is Trustly?
Trustly is supervised by Finansinspektionen as a payment institution, and the payment is always approved at your own bank. You therefore share no card details with the casino, and no one can take money from your account without you approving it with BankID.
Supervision works the other way too. In 2022 Trustly received a warning and an administrative fine of 130 million kronor from Finansinspektionen for shortcomings in its anti-money laundering work. That shows the authority scrutinises the company. What you yourself should check is that the casino holds a Swedish licence from Spelinspektionen (the Swedish Gambling Authority).
Trustly and the credit ban
Because Trustly takes money from an ordinary bank account, it does not count as credit. Since 1 May 2026 operators may not allow or contribute to gambling financed with credit, and credit cards must be blocked in the cashier. So it is your own money that counts.
It is worth knowing that a credit facility linked to the account itself, such as an overdraft, also counts as credit according to the preparatory works of the law. The operator rarely has any way of seeing this, so in practice the responsibility for not gambling with borrowed money lies with you.
Pros and cons of Trustly
Pros
- No card and no separate account needed
- Approved with BankID at your own bank
- No fees from Trustly according to the company’s terms
- Can be used for both deposits and withdrawals at several casinos
Cons
- Withdrawal time depends on the casino’s review, not just on Trustly
- Requires an account with a connected bank
- Withdrawals may take longer with smaller banks, according to Snabbare
If you would rather pay with your mobile number, you can compare other casino payment methods, where we also cover Swish and debit cards.
Common mistakes with Trustly
- Wrong account. Check which account you select at the bank, especially if you have savings accounts linked to the same log-in.
- Double deposits. Do not repeat a payment that seems to have hung before you have checked your banking app.
- Taking a bonus without reading the terms. A bonus can lock your balance until the wagering requirement is met, however fast Trustly is.
- Incomplete verification. If details are missing from your account, the withdrawal may be stopped until the casino has what it needs.
When does Trustly suit you – and when does it not?
A Trustly casino suits you if you want the money in your bank account and do not want to keep track of yet another log-in or card. It is also the option available at the most casinos in our comparison, so you do not have to change payment method if you change operator.
It is less suitable if your bank is not connected or if you would prefer to keep gambling completely separate from your salary account. In that case a separate account with a fixed budget may be a better solution, or a debit card linked to that particular account.
Play with limits
Money moving fast is convenient, but it also makes it easy to deposit more than you intended. Use your deposit limit actively: a reduction applies immediately, while an increase takes effect after 72 hours at the earliest. There are more tools on our page about responsible gambling. Spelpaus.se, the national self-exclusion register, and Stödlinjen, the national helpline, on 020-819 100 are there if you need to take a break or talk to someone.
Frequently asked questions
Which casinos offer Trustly?
According to the casinos’ own Swedish websites, Trustly is available at LeoVegas, Unibet, Mr Green, Casumo, ComeOn and Snabbare, among others. The range can change, so check the cashier before you register. Only use casinos with a Swedish licence from Spelinspektionen (the Swedish Gambling Authority).
Does it cost anything to use Trustly at a casino?
Trustly writes in its terms that the company does not charge any fees for the service. Your bank may, however, charge fees, for example for currency conversion, and the operator may have its own rules. Read the terms at both the bank and the casino.
How long does a Trustly withdrawal take?
Trustly states that the vast majority of payouts in gaming happen instantly, but the casino must first review and approve the withdrawal. Snabbare, for example, states that the money reaches your account within 15 minutes of processing. At other casinos it may take longer.
Is Trustly safe?
Trustly is a payment institution authorised by Finansinspektionen (the financial supervisory authority), and every payment is approved with BankID at your own bank. The casino never receives your bank details. Also check that the operator holds a Swedish licence.
Can I use Trustly if I have an overdraft facility?
Gambling on credit has been banned since 1 May 2026, and according to the preparatory works of the law, a credit facility linked to your bank account also counts as credit. The operator can rarely see this, so only play with money that is genuinely yours.
